HOSPICE RESIDENCE
Marlin Hospice House, Warren
Designed to enhance the quality of care for terminally ill residents, age 62 or older, by offering additional shared living residence support systems.
An attending physician must refer hospice residents, and their diagnosis must be consistent with a life-limiting illness.
Additional features:
- 24/7 staff with interdisciplinary team comprised of physicians, nurses, social workers, spiritual and bereavement counselors, home health aides, and volunteers.
- Furnished private bedrooms with hospital-type beds.
- Private bathrooms with heated bathroom floors.
- Three meals a day.
- Pain management and palliative (comfort) care.
- Educational counseling on death and dying.
- Professional assistance provided by Community Care Hospice.
