For single adults who value their independence and privacy but seek security, companionship and affordability, there is a place like home. Cooperative Housing's Shared Living Residences enable single adults with low to moderate incomes (as defined by U.S. government standards) to enjoy all the comforts of home in a gracious, family-style setting.

Shared Living Residences are newer ranch-style homes located in quiet residential neighborhoods. Each spacious home is fully accessible and designed to accommodate five single adults. Every home features tastefully decorated common areas, which are shared by residents. Residents enjoy their own private bedroom and full bath that they furnish with their own furniture and belongings.

CHC offers four types of shared living residences

  • Independent residences for older adults.
  • Independent residence for special needs adult males.
  • Supportive residences for frail older adults.
  • Hospice residence for terminally ill older adults.
